The Zorglonde is a weapon created by Zorglub to bring others under his spell. Depending on the wave level, the zorglonde can be used to temporarily hypnotise whole populations.
Zorglub is an antagonist in the "Spirou and Fantasio" series/comic en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zorglub

Actually Fantasio didn't get frozen by the Zorglonde but by the Time Stopper, a weapon which can freeze time.
