Description
My entry into the 'Lost In Space' Challenge over atEntering the challenge in the Level 2,Beginner section.
For the entry,I have the required stock in it.Yet the question remained as to how to make it creative.I tried a couple different styles yet none of them seemed to work.
But then I thought; what if the space background stock was in a mirror leading into another space dimension?
So this was the creative style I managed to come up with. Here, we see that a young girl has discovered this strange mirror in a dark room. The glow from the mirror shows another world, a space dimension with a few 'Lost' items floating inside.
With curiosity, the girl reaches her hand to the mirror's surface, where it starts to blend into her skin...
I'll leave the mystery as to what happens to the girl to all of you.But for now,I hope you guys like it and to wish me luck in the contest as well.

Beautiful manip and excellent concept!
The stock elements are blended together really well - there aren't any crop-lines or remnants of the former backgrounds
I have two suggestions for you:
-First, the scene would seen more...connected, if you were to add some blue to the objects in the mirror (from the nebula behind them) and some blue highlights on the girl. In the description you mentioned the intriguing blue glow coming from the mirror, but the woman doesn't seem to be effected by the glow. I'd suggest adding some blue highlights to her arms, shoulder and face in particular, and just faintly on her dress.
-Second, Near the bottom of the mirror is the only place where there is any remnant of the former background. There is a blue line under the mirror-portal that is a little distracting. I would also suggest adding a faint glow to the inside edges of the mirror frame, to show the light coming from the nebula. Don't make it too bright though, or you will have to make the highlights on the woman even brighter to match...
Anyways, amazing work! Good luck in the Challenge!!
Dan

Very good! Just a few touchups:
-First, try to crop the glow out of the inside of the mirror (where the nebula is) - the glow is coming from the nebula, not the mirror itself - and from the left side of the mirror. Basically, try to keep the glow confined to the sides where the inside-rim of the mirror is visible (bottom and right mostly).
-Second, the girl's hand should probably be above the glow layer on the mirror.
-Lastly, the blue highlights you've done on the girl look really good, but try to make them a little smoother, either using the Blur Effect (carefully) or manually smudging them with the Smudge Tool.
Otherwise, looking very good!

Thank you.
And for the glow on the girl's hand,I tried erasing it to make it below her but it didn't look good in my POV so I just left it there, making it part of the blend when the girl's hand was going through the mirror.
But all and all, thank you very much.
