Description
Here is some of the work that I did while developing the character EYE GUY for the Cartoon Network Studios program Ben 10, the DTV BEN 10: SECRET OF THE OMNITRIX. Many possiblities were generated for the idea of Eye Guy, so here are an assortment of rough doodles from my process of possibilities....BEN 10 and all related characters are trademarks of and © Cartoon Network.

Hey tnperkins I just wanted to say that these concepts are epic. I've watched Ben10 seance the first episode tell now. Watching Eye Guy in secret of the OMNITRIX was epic.

Personally, I would've gone for the Name Argus, A Multi-eyed Monster from Greek Myth....But seriously, how would BEN know a name like THAT?

Its sorta funny that the doodle that was made into the eyeguy we all know and love was doodle number TEN!

Personally, i think #10 looks the most like the EG we have now, but great work on all of them,

These characters are the property on Cartoon Network Studios. I would not think that that would be a good idea. I only display them here as part of my professional portfolio. I have no right to grant permissions on them.

Up to you. If you claim authorship of those characters, Cartoon Network may take issue with it. As to the design themselves, I think if you want to credit me as the designer of your work, go ahead. It is always best to design ones own work. That way you get all the credit.
