Credit to: Spriters- Sprites, Game Theory- InspirationWell, I have my own head canon and takes inspiration from Game Theory on the Mario Time Line. And I knew that Jumpman isn't Today's Mario. I learned from GameExplain's Cool Bits.
In my headcanon, Pauline is Mario's Mother. And Pauline was married to Jumpman Mario for some time until when she gave birth to Mario and heard that her husband did bad things to Cranky and DK Jr, after the events of Yoshi's New Island. Eventually, they split up and got divorced. The DK now, and Mario see each other like Sonic and Knuckles. They occasionally fight for Pauline's affection, but are good pals. While Pauline is watching Mario and Bowser duke it out as usual with Luigi protecting her, they get an unexpected visit from Mario's Father, who has captured DK and uses him as his minion. Mario and Cranky are enraged seeing them again and for what they have done. This sums up into some maaaaajor family issues. Bowser also is feeling like he's caught in a third wheel, but he knows not to fight Mario. He has a friend/enemy relationship with him.
See? Sometimes, I can create some unique situations from inspiration. ^^ And no, Mario isn't evil. Him hurting Luigi in Power Tennis? Brotherly Jealousy. And he appreciates him in Dark Moon. Hurting Yoshi? Yoshi is loyal to Mario. He doesn't punch Yoshi, his arm could be distanced from his head. And the ol' sacrifice? Yoshi can teleport by changing to egg and teleport to the nest as seen in SMG2. Cheating on Princesses? Pauline is in the past as I just explained, and Daisy? The Rosalina's reborn galaxy theory explained in SMG. I still ship Mareach. And I respect Maraisy. ^^

Well, DK hasn't seen his true mother in the DK series so he would probably need some platonic affection from Pauline?

Hey Toad900, can I add you to my series, its my Fanfiction story between Nintendo and Disney. Plus I'm including the Mega Man Series, Sonic Series, and Pacman Series. Its called, Manny and the 2 Koopalings. This fanfiction is where I became friends with the 2 Koopalings(Larry and Ludwig), and made them as good guys.

I, myself, have some rather unique fan-theories:
Past Mario and Past Pauline are Mario & Luigi's real parents
Today's Pauline is secretly a Mario Sis.
Bowser kidnaps Peach because he secretly misses his deceased wife (who's the real mother to Bowser Jr.)
Rosalina is NOT Mario and Peach's daughter from the future, and Peach doesn't pass away during the time period pointed out byΒ Game Theory's lies about Rosalina
Peach doesn't have a social problem
Daisy's not in Smash because Sakurai mistook Peach's 2nd color scheme for the real Princess Daisy in Melee (which is half-true)
When the Lumas sacrificed themselves in Super Mario Galaxy, they actually restored everything to the way it was before Bowser's invasion, but with the Star Festival in full swing during the day (meaning that there was no second Big Bang after all)
Baby Donkey Kong (from Yoshi's Island DS and Mario Super Sluggers) is the REAL Donkey Kong Jr.
The Donkey Kong arcade games took place around the same time as the events of the Past locations of Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time, meaning that the Mario and Pauline of the past weren't affected by the Shroob invasion, and that past Pauline wasn't pregnant with present Pauline at the time

The Koopalings are actually Bowser's adopted children, while Bowser Jr. is his real son
