Now before you ask, "I thought the FNAF series was over after 3!", let me explain this little short story on how the animatronics still live. Including the toys.

Tails was the one that found the pieces of all of the animatronics in the horror attraction. ALL of them. Even Golden Freddy. Tails understood what the place was meant to be instead of a horror attraction. So Tails took a piece from each of the robots, sold the others at an auction, and took it back to his lab. There, he used a machine that rebuilds the piece back to its original form. Piece by robotic piece. Tails encoded coding into each harddrive and gave them actual FEELINGS. In short, he's bringing them all back to life. Cream also came with Tails and also coded what they do to certain people, target and attack villains like Eggman, and learn to adapt from others. So Tails made all of the animatronics their friends. And they all will protect whoever threatens them. They built the resturant in their own way, they both own the pizzaria and are common night guards. They watch the animatronics and they come to their office to say hi or hang out with them.

There. There ya go. As for Springtrap, we will never know. But all of the animatronics have him on their blacklist.
