Credit to: Map and Model Owners, Google Images- ScreenshotSo yes, I heard that Sonic Runners is pulling a Flipnote Hatena and Nintendo Wi-Fi. Yes. It's shutting down. And will be taken off the shelves.
I made this comic to show that it has flaws, but it still can be enjoyed. Even if the story is bland compared to other games considering destroying a badnik is a super duper event.
Cream knows light when she's in darkness. That's why she said that she tried to be brave in the dark in Generations. She knows the goodness of others and knows the bright side to life. She doesn't benefit the team through fighting, but with spirit. That's why Cream should be a part of the main cast and support them in their times of need.
Let's hope the new Sonic game doesn't blow and takes its time.
Also, I'm not 100% on the Unleashed mechanic being from the mobile version but I don't see in the app store.
Maybe it was official, maybe it wasn't.

At least a sequel came out in 2017, and another game featuring most of you all came to be, in the form of Sonic Dash, which now has the movie version of Sonic.

Hate to sound apocalyptic but... I kind of think this might be the last hoorah for most of the Sonic cast.

Honestly, I'm a lot more saddened than I should be. Runners could go fuck itself, but at least I could see some of the characters I wanted to see back, like Tikal and Blaze and even the Werehog. Sure it was almost impossible to actually USE them, but the fact they were in the game at all over being replaced with the Deadly Six like in that awful new Olympics game is still a positive. But now the game is going, I'll have to say bye to all of 'em again, 'cause Lord knows SEGA won't keep them around for the later games if they're still listening to those whiny nostalgia-goggled Megadrive fanboys.
And frankly, the future still looks quite dim to me. Because the next game being good or not is up to SEGA putting effort into it. And if SEGA did that we probably wouldn't have 06 or Rise of Lyric. We wouldn't have another fucking Boom game and Runners might have actually been fixed. I've been burned too many times by that bunch of ignorant salerymen to have any sort of hope for this year's main Sonic game, not if they keep "teasing" us by drowning us in memes like they have on Twitter. I can only sit here and hope that they don't fuck up and the Sonic Cycle can be pushed back for another year. Even though what I REALLY want to see is SEGA finally figure out what they've done wrong and improve on the stuff that worked (the Adventure games, the Hedgehog Engine games, possible spinoffs) before the consequences of their previous actions inevitably catch up to them and the doors close forever.

Honestly, I felt like Sonic Runners deserved lower than a 51 on Metacritic due to its numerous flaws; for me, I hated that app especially after the updates. I thought it was better than Rise of Lyric, but worse than '06.

This is really really good. Sega is not going so well lately. Β It's kinda sad. But I agree that some sonic games are good from the past. Not perfect but good. I feel really sad for all the sonic cast that we have been with for these years but we try not to give it up. Sonic and the others all made me happy for years and hopefully they will do ok in the future. I have faith in them. Β
I want to say to the whole Sonic gang, thank you guys so much for what you have done for me and others who enjoy you guys so much. And thank you Cream for that uplifting and hopeful speech. Β

I read about it too. Β It was fun to play, but it kept crashing on my mobile device and was very glitchy, the Premium Roulette was a totally rigged and I wasn't impressed with Timed Mode either. Β All in all, it's no real loss for me.
