"Now Thunder Spark please be good for the others while I'm with Big Macintosh." Fluttershy said to the alicorn colt as they were waiting for Big Macintosh, the other Elements of Harmony and the colts.
"Ok." Thunder said just as there was knock on the oak door of the cottage. "I'll get it." he said skipping to the door and opening it with his telekinesis. "Hello Twilight, AppleJack, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie, Rarity, Soarin', Caramel and Pokey." he said as the aforementioned ponies entered the small house on the outskirts of Ponyville.
"Hello, Thunder." Pinkie said giving the little foal a squeeze. "Still as hugable as ever. So Fluttershy," the pink party pony asked giving the shy mare a wink, "when's your date coming?"
"He said he'll be here at about six PM." she said looking at the clock, "which is about fifteen minutes from now." And in the mean time the ten ponies talked. Most conversations were congratulations on Fluttershy's first ever date, which made her blush more than a few times, others was reassurance about Thunder Spark. There was another knock on the door, that could only mean one thing.
"Big Macintosh is here." Thunder Spark said as Fluttershy opened the door to reveal the lumbering red stallion with a small basket in his mouth.
"Evenin' yah'll," he said into the house and turned to his date. "Yah ready tah go?" he asked.
"Y.yes." she smiled as she walked next to the older Apple sibling, and they started on their way in the setting sunlight toward their destination in a friendly silence,when they arrived at an oak tree in the middle of a field Big Mac laid a small blanket underneath it. And they sat there right next to each other, not talking, not moving, not a real care in the world on their mind, just watching Celestia set the Sun and Luna raise the moon.
After a few minutes Big Mac felt Fluttershy lean against him, her pink mane was very soft against him, he looked over and met his emerald eyes with her aquamarine. It was felt like an eternity they gazed into each others eyes, as if time itself wanted the moment to last forever.
But it had to end for even the princess sisters could control the flow of time, and when it did the red work stallion gently wrapped his hoof around the delicate, that was what he assumed she was, shy pegasus mare. After another moments of serene silence the pair looked at each other again and kissed, simultaneously their hearts felt like they could explode and than explode once again. When their lips parted all the red stallion and yellow mare had to do was look into their expressions to fully understand how they felt.
And when it was about eleven O' clock the pair arrived at Fluttershy's cottage to see the foal and the foalsitters all passed out, some were on the couch, others on the floor and others a sleep in the chairs of the dinning room table.
"Oh dear," Fluttershy said quietly scanning the jumble of sleeping ponies. "should we wake them?"
"Nah," Big Mac whispered back. "let 'em rest. We can sleep in the farmhouse tahnight if yah want tah."
"That's fine with me...but what about AppleJack, do you think she will approve?"
"Ah'm sure she won't mind, now let's git goin'" and they started off for Sweet Apple Acres. When they got there Big Mac showed Fluttershy his room, which was just as plain as hers, and they climbed into the bed near the window and fell into a happy sleep.
