Patience is a Virtue

When Sonic got up to a ledge to scope the surrounding area he found that his friends haven't moved much from when he left. "Ugh." he said frustrated "This is ridiculous!" and in the small pegasi's rage he kicked a lose boulder. "Uh oh." He said as he watched in horror as the large rock collided with other rocks causing an avalanche, good thing his friends down the cliff side were prepared. Sonic sighed a breathe of relief as Crisp, Honey, Mocha, Nano, Con, Pinny, and Crys dodged the big stones with ease. But in the process the straight forward way of scaling the mountain was blocked off, so they had to go around.
Sonic sighed, "I've caused enough annoyance for today." the cyan colt sat on his rump and waited for the others. In the mean time he occupied himself by fiddling with the old WonderBolts goggles his father gave him when he was born. Just looking at them made Sonic tear up. "No," He muttered wiping his emerald eyes, "I must be strong, for mom and dad." And after a few more minutes Sonic's eyes started to get heavier and heavier, and soon he gave up to his exhaustion and laid down to take a small nap.

When Apple Crisp and the others made their way up to the ledge where Sonic was they found the cyan pegasus sound asleep. "Aw," Pinny said. "isn't he cute when he's asleep?"
"Ah guess yer right." Honey admitted.
"Well, we have to continue on." Crisp instructed. "Nano, Con, levitate Sonic on to may back and stabilize him. Sis, you can help get Sonic on my back as well." The aforementioned ponies carried put the order and the gang moved onward. "Nice going there buddy." Crisp whispered to the little cyan colt.
