The Snatching

The night was pretty peaceful, the kids were sleeping happily in their beds and not a thing was stirring. Everything except a pitch black wisp making a beeline for a miniature cloud mansion, the black cloud found it's way into the bedroom where Rainbow Dash and Soarin' was sleeping. It was a good thing Dash was a light sleeper; for if she weren't the cyan mare would not have screamed thus waking her husband.
"Dash!" he exclaimed trying to pry the rainbow maned pegasus from the cloud's clutches. But that was to no avail; for Rainbow was glued to her captive. So the was Wonderbolt tried to disperse the wisp like any other cloud. But instead Soarin' got trapped as well. "What the ha-" was all he could say before disappearing.

The same phenomenon happened at the library, Sugarcube Corner, The Carousel Boutique, Sweet Apple Acres and Fluttershy's cottage. The Elements of Harmony and their respective husbands gets snatched by a strange cloud of pure darkness.
