Courageous Crisp

After wandering for a while found Sonic in a clearing. "What took you guys so long?" he said form the branch he was occupying.
"Well sorry for not being as fast as you." Crystal spat.
"I'll give you guys a minute." Sonic said alighting on the ground. But before the minute could even begin a roar rang out through the forest.

Meanwhile Apple Crisp was below a tree crying. "Oh, who was Luna kidding. I'll never be a good leader, I'm not as brave as Sonic or smart as Nano or Con..." a loud roar interrupted his thoughts "Wait, that sounded like...." he began wiping his eyes with his neckerchief but seven terrified screams rang out. "Guys!" Crisp yelled running into the darkness with out a second thought.

When Crisp found himself in the clearing he saw a bear advancing toward his friends. At first he was scared, as always, until he got a good look at his friends. They were all huddled by a tree, but what really caught Crisp's eye were the tears in Sonic's eye.
"Ok," He muttered fury starting to burn in him. "that is it." The red colt rammed the bear with the hidden power from his dad.
"Crisp!" the others called in relief as the bear was knocked a respectable five hooves away.
"Now listen here," Crisp said eyes almost ablaze. "you may have scared me, you may have scared my fiends, but there is one thing you do not do. And that is make. Little. Sonic. Cry!"
"Hey I'm not little..."
"Put an apple in it Sonic." Pinny interrupted literally shoving an apple into the cyan colt's jaw. And while he was trying to figure out how the pink pony got the apple Crisp was busy scolding the bear.
"Now, Harry Bear." Crisp said his demeanor softening. "Why are you acting this way? You're always so calm when your with me and mom."
Harry lifted some fur on his side, revealing a nasty gash. "Oh dear," Crisp said rushing toward a bush. "so those roars were roars of pain and since you recognized Honey you though she'll be able to help." He returned with a bundle of waxy leaves. "She can, but you just scared her, we did not know you were in pain; so here; these leaves will prevent infection of the wound and will kill any bacteria already in the wound."
Harry applied the leaves and let out a pain filled roar in front of Crisp, who did not bat an eye. The red colt coughed and said. "And would you mind eating a mint now and than, your breath stinks." Harry nodded and lumbered back into the brush.
Honey, Mocha, Nano, Con, Crystal and Sonic cheered just as Crisp fell over unconscious. "Whoa!" Sonic said racing to his friend. "What happened?"
"Adrenaline breakdown." Honey said
"What?" the others asked.
"With all that adrenaline runnin' through his veins it done tuckered out mah bro. 'E might out fer, maybe...an hour forty five."
Nano looked impressed, "Fifty five minutes based on Crisp's display. How did you know his condition HoneyDew?"
Honey Blushed, "Mah mom usually wants me tah help 'er out when she's doin' medical procedures. Since Crisp's a little squirmy."
"Ah I see." the purple unicorn said nodding. "Well Crisp did go out there."
