Its starting to get cold over here now, I love taking photographs in winter but I sometimes wish I didn't have to go out in 50 layers of clothing!
No probs

That would be a BIT too extreme methinks...and I might, I don't know, DIE of cold perhaps?
Hmm I just like that in summer I can go out with just one layer and feel like less of a multi-layered eskimo ahaa

Aww, where's your sense of adventure?!! haha yeah, being an eskimo has got to be rough. My luck, I'd be all suited up for a seal hunt and have to
hahaha

You're welcome.
There are indeed some great similarities.I said in a comment before that i'm not looking forward to the winter because of the poor summer we had this year. However i envie you for the beautiful snowy landscapes you get to see and photograph where you live. I really like the snow, the quiet the white, ... you can take beautiful landscapes when it has snowed. Unfortunately here where i live we don't have alot of snowfall normally. But one can always hope that this year will be a good one and that we"ll have lots and lots of snow here

haha Well, you can have all of OUR snow!! That way I won't have to shovel it!!

Testhament In reply to Toadsmoothy2 [2007-10-21 20:37:41 +0000 UTC]
Haha I can imagine shoveling snow for a couple of hours kinda takes the romance out of it.

hahaha I sure does!! Especially a heavy, wet snow! Ach! My aching back!
In some places here in Michigan they get so much snow falling at once the road trucks can't scrape it off fast enough. Then the snowmobiles and cross country skiis come out and they actually skii on the roadways!

aww Thats nice! Thank you
Well, much of the south, from Florida to the desert southwest stays relatively warm during winter.
Its just us crazy people who live in the northern tier that get snowed on.
I'd love to escape to the desert during winter!
...but I can't afford it.

I've just looked at The Day after Tomorrow, and I recognize you must be crazy to live in the northern tier... but I'm also concerned
brr I'm so cold here (the heating isn't working).
I'd also love to be in the south right now

I just heard from a friend in Florida...it was 80F/26.7C and sunny there today, per usual. Along the coast of southern California is pretty much 75F/24C and sunny year around!
Of course, thats why everyone wants to live there and why it's so expensive to live there.
Of course, further inland, in the desert it can get up to 120F/48.9C
but, its a dry heat, so you don't notice it as much.
....until you fall over from heat stroke. hahaha

yeah, that makes me think I'm quite well in Paris, even if it's raining all the year. I've no chances to fall over from heat stroke.
anyway, I love snow and winter
and anyway, your photo is beautiful
