Description
Clockwork is the Omnitrix DNA Sample of a Chronosapien from the planet Chronia.Species: Chronosapien
Homeworld: Chronia
DNA Donor: N/A
Appearance: Clockwork is living green Quartz Crystal contained within a golden mechanical body with various black stripes and a transparent green glass on his torso, revealing the Quartz Crystal inside of him. A large key resides on his forehead, and he also has some bronze for his legs and arms. His arms are shaped like hourglasses, with the same green glass revealing Quartz Crystal sand and his shoulders also have the same type of glass revealing the small Quartz Crystals. The Omnitrix symbol is located underneath his chin.
Abilities:
Chronokinesis: Similar to Eran, Clockwork has power over time. Allowing him to time travel to different periods in time, summon things from different periods of time and fire time rays that can age things younger or older. Yet Clockwork's powers are far greater than any Chronian as he can actually survive a Chronosapien Time Bomb and has a greater understanding of the space, time continuum.
Dimensional Travel: Aside from travelling through different timelines, Clockwork can travel to different dimensions, either via teleportation or using a dimensional wormholes.
Levitation: Clockwork commonly levitates as his form of locomotion.
Retrocognitive Projections: By rotating the key on his head, Clockwork can create hologram like projections of what happened in the past.
Enhanced Physical Capabilities: Clockwork is strong enough to take down his enemies.
Mechamorph Enhancement: Because Clockwork has a mechanical body, it is possible that a Galvanic Mechamorph can merge with his mechanical form. Allowing his time rays to be increased in power, while also granting him the Mechamorph's ability to shape shift his limbs into various mechanical weapons.
Chronosapien Detection: Clockwork can sense the presence of another Chronosapien's power and undo the resulting effects if needed.
Durable Armour: Clockwork's mechanical body can take a heavy beating. Even the glass parts of him are reinforced.
Weaknesses: Despite his durable armour, his key is actually the only part of him that isn't durable. Clockwork is surprisingly slow and not agile at all, and his time rays are ineffective against Petrosapien crystals, as they do not age.
Trivia:
-Clockwork speaks with a German accent.
-When Clockwork fused with Ben 23's Techno Bubble, he beared a strong resemblance to the Haywire Clockwork action figure, which had Eatle's Ultimate Alien colour scheme.
-When redesigning Clockwork, I originally based him on ancient creatures like Trilobites and even Horseshoe Crabs sta.sh/0ln2iaihc1a . But then I decided to go with the robotic appearance, but had the idea of making his arms like hourglasses sta.sh/02dxps6ovyjs sta.sh/0208973dfc4o .
-Clockwork's hands were inspired by Maltruant.
-The idea of Clockwork to be living Quartz Crystal inside a robotic suit is similar to how Echo Echo is living soundwaves incased in a robotic suit.
-Unlike the original, only his key is his weakspot.
-Centuries ago, Chronians built the Chronosapiens to assist them in their wars. When the first Chronosapiens were functioning, the Chronians did not expect the Quartz Crystal in the mechanical beings to gain sentience and awareness of their surroundings. The Chronosapiens then left the Chronians because they did not want anything to do with their wars. Despite this failure, the Chronians still found use for the Crystal, as Chronians used these crystals for almost all of their technology.Β One genius Chronian scientist built a device made mostly out of Quartz Crystal (Possible foreshadowing of who this might be...).
