Description A little project i decided to start on!

Sylviornis, was a giant bird endemic to New Caledonia, it was about 2 meters high wich made it the largest galiform bird to have ever existed. Unfortunately, it dissapered around 1500 BC, this was because the Lapita people hunted the giant bird to extinction

Aepyornis, also known as the "Elephant bird" Is believed to have been 3 metres (10 ft) tall and weighing close to half a ton making it the biggest bird of all time ,it was endemic to Madagascar, but went extinct about a 1000 years ago, the reason is unknown but it may have been because of humans hunting it to extinction.

Dinornis, better known as the giant "Moa" wich is what the native's calls it, once roamed New Zealand, these birds came in many sizes but the biggest was Dinornis giganteus wich could weigh up to 250 kilo. The Moa's went extinct because of humans introducing new species to the island and overhunting the moa's, and they were driven to extinction about 700 years ago.

It is sad that these birds became extinct, but Aepyornis and Dinornis is now on the list that sceintist wants to bring back via cloning, Eggs and bones whit soft tissue has been found of these two birds and they both provide good DNA, wich makes it possible to bring them back from extinction, our technology will be ready for this whitin 5 years! I'm sorry Sylviornis, you got the shortest straw . . .

Bummer, all those South Asian Birds killed by humans. We could have been riding Moas today, instead of ostriches
