heya this is a piece of art coursework i did the other day and thought it was good.i got a picture from google of Twiggy (model in the 1960's) and edited it using andy warhol as my inspiration ^_^
hope you like it ^_^
[Edit] So like wow this is the deviation with the most views and i have no idea why lol. the funny thing is like that it has the most view but only 2 favs lol XD thanks everyone

Hiya,
I think your work is amazing. I've been trying all night to re-create a similar effect, but I can't seem to get the colours right and I was hoping you could tell me your secret? I'm able to do the selection and mask bit ok (I think) separating the image from the background, and change the background colour, however my problem is that I can't change the image (from black and white) to the multiple colours you have used. I'm getting really frustrated with it as surely it has something to do with the blend options? I'm able to colour the white tones leaving the blacks alone, but I can't seem to colour the black tones one colour and the white tones another. All I seem able to do is alter the levels of both the blacks and whites together. PLEASE help me!

First off this is part off a piece of art coursework for school which i did last year. I can't actually remember how I did it because i used a tutorial to help me. Sorry to say but I don't remember where the tutorial was but I'm trying to track it down now I'm also gonna give you some links to other tutorials that are quite helpful. [link] that one is really helpful but it doesn'y show how to change individual colours on the people which is quite anoying. WoooI just found the tutorial i used [link] i hope it helps. If those don't help please tell me and i will try to help some more or you can try googleing pop art tutorials or andy warhol tutorials. I really do hope this helps
