I feel like there was a part in coraline where the other mother swallows the key to the door. maybe i'm making that up. This isn't meant to be the other mother, just taking inspiration from it.anyway. this is FULL of mistakes. i was really frustrated and angry while drawing this. kept smearing and spilling ink. tried to cover it with pro white and then a wash. didn't really work.

the fustrations really add to the composition for me^^
also the curvedness(or how do you write it xD) is really nice!it makes it more destracting and also gives disturbance inside the work.
and the choice for ink is a very good choice, i think the platters and work you had on this, give a sort of 'grunge' feel to it!
and also the story behind it is well done

Thank you! Actually it's based on a scene in the book. I've sort of grown to really love all the mistakes and frustration in this piece.

Maybe in the background kinda giving her a halo or the key itself...i'm not sure..the idea sounded better when i first commented than it does now..lol
