Chidori had been wandering around without much purpose or direction along the outskirts of Kitterkeep when she ran into a Kitter herding an Acoucoo. The Kitter had asked her if she'd like to help release the creature - Chidori, without any reason to decline, agreed to help.

With the deed done, the Kitter, Lolly, had turned to Chidori.

"Would you like me to escort you home, Chidori?" Chidori shrugged.

"I don't have a home." Lolly frowned, a sad expression blooming on her features.

"Oh, I-I see... Would you like a home?"

Chidori, intrigued, cocked her head. "Do you know somewhere I could call a 'home?"

Lolly beamed, suddenly hopeful. "Well, yes! There's a Meepery not too far from here, with many other Meeps your age living there! It's a nice place to live."

Chidori thought for a moment, then nodded her head. "I wouldn't mind seeing this place."

Lolly seemed relieved for reasons unknown to Chidori. "Follow me, then!" Chidori willingly followed her, curious as to what kinds of meeps she'd meet in the Meepery. Perhaps then, she'd remember why exactly she was out here in the first place.

lolly is like "oh thank god this kid isnt just bumming it out in the wilderness"
