There is an unacceptable lack of fan art appreciation of Sigma, the main antagonist from the Megaman X series. Gotta fix that!Of all of his many, many, many bodies this one's my favorite. You face this at the tail end of Megaman X6.

I sat down and put a few more hours into it fixing up a ton of minor linework problems and a few major ones as well as adding just a couple more details. There's still work I could do, so maybe later.

Hell sigma looked legitly terrifying, especially since he looked like a Gold-Plated Terminator (or a Gold Skeletal version of Gamma Sigma from the previous game). And his theme song for that form was probably my 2nd favorite song from X6.

I hate Sigma. But...He's the villain. So he must be a darn good one. In all honesty, I think him to be cool, if lacking in personality.Β This looks incredibly detailed, though I'm not too partial to "Zombie Sigma" in the first place. But...this...actually kind of changes my mind. It looks really cool here.

Actually, I was *just* sighing to myself that people don't portray the X series as it is these days...then I see talent like this haha. This was the creepiest and most misunderstood of Sigma's many forms...Then again, I didn't fully understand X6 even after getting all the endings.. clashed too much with X5's plot. Then randomly Sigma is the boss of X6 anyway X'D but great job, it was a sick design, and you did it justice. Must have been difficult getting references to draw this..

The more I look at it, the more I thinkΒ of it asΒ official concept art of this form rather thenΒ fan art. Very good job! This reallyΒ conveys the incompleteness of this particular battle body compared to the rest Sigma's adorned (even Wolf Sigma was more complete than this,Β even more soΒ in Maverick Hunter X, and he didn't reallyΒ have one in X8 if you discount his Diablo form). However, given how broken the fight can be against it, thisΒ body could have been even more powerful than his gammaΒ form,Β especiallyΒ once complete.

Yeah, X6 is a mess of a game but the Sigma fights are so different from the rest of the series that they really stand out to me as something cool. His whole mental and physical instability was only presented in that game and made for a nice change to a character who is in every other occasion a powerhouse of mind and body.

I think after X5, the X series just progressively went downhill (except Maverick Hunter X, that was a good remake.)
I agree that X7 was a mess, but as far as I see it, all the 3D side scrollers that jumped straight into 3D once the PS3 became standard, all the good games became baaaad. X7 is just an example of that era...X6 at least was consistent in art style with the previous titles. But I'm a bit bias when it comes to 2d vs 3d, traditional ftw x)))

x6 was good in terms of consistency with the previous titles. art design, style, game-flow, music....and then there's x7....x(
however, the first stage with Axl seemed good! Then it went to lazy land after that, yeah lol. Yes! CM made up for the lack of effort in X7, even if it wasn't a mainstream game, but oh well, I enjoyed too.

Metal gear, definitely. But I felt that metal slug wasn't as successful in 3d, I just preferred the old games as 2d side scrollers. I'm just old school, maybe. Not saying that everything that went 3d was bad, but I will say that there was still some "ehhh" titles out there, or just started out badly. anyway, X7 was one of them.

Oh hell yeah, I loved this battle. Mainly because of how awesome the Sigma remix is, and the fact that that Terminator Sigma is, I think, one of the coolest second forms I have seen.
Great job btw. I love how those energy thingies wisp and swirl towards his main weapon. Like it's preparing to fire in a most badass and menacing way.

And yeah, I always had a tense moment of anticipation in the space between Sigma's forms waiting to see what the second form would look like. When this thing exploded out of the ground and those first beats of that remix hit I was dumbfounded by how cool I found this thing. This guy takes the top Sigma spot for me.

I hated X6, because I thought two Zero revivals is just too much already (and anticlimactic). But yeah, I loved Sigma in X6 the most! I mean... he's incomplete in this. Very cool! And yet, he still has such a cool second form as you mentioned.
