Shift was always on her own. She has always preferred doing things her way so as soon as she learned everything she needed about survival, she took off. She spent the remainder of her days entertaining the humans as she had fallen in love with their electronic music.

background story
Shift really didn't fit in with the other members of her clan, so she simply left when she became of age. She learned how to fend for herself, get her own food, make her own money (in order to live in the human world) and live as both Altiax and Human. She was walking around late one night and heard a large, repeating boom noise that caught her attention. She ran towards it and found herself in a night club. She opened the doors and instantly fell in love with the rave lights, dancing and singing people, but most of all, the music. She proceeded to sneak her way around the people and watch the DJ at work in order to learn how he did it. When everyone left, she used her gravitational abilities to knock out the DJ, steal his equipment, run home and practice. The police never found the equipment because she changed the colours of them. She moved on to another bright city, walked into a club and held up her computer to the owner and just stared at him. The owner nodded and she went to work. She slowly made a name for herself. They simply called her "Blue", as her hair had a blue tint to it. She is now a semi-famous DJ that people are quite familiar of and fond of.

Gravity - This is her birth element. She will only use this if she absolutely needs to. She will affect the gravity around her to either knock someone out, pop their eardrums, send them flying, or in worst case scenarios, kill them.
Mind Reading - She uses this most of the time, though, because of where she lives, she mostly targets one person at a time to read their mind. If she tried to read everyone else's around her, she would get a terrible head ache. Its because of this that she doesn't have to use her gravity element so often. She simply reads the minds of those that might hurt her and takes off before they come after her for whatever reason.
