I believe it's the thing du jour to create new variations on characters such as the Hammer Bros, Boomerang Bros et all. I'm late in jumping on this particular bandwagon as usual. But indulging in loads of Fire Emblem games and Robin of Sherwood episodes lately has spawned this: the Arrow Bros, ready to puncture some plumbers.Related content

well the arrows could have like a hammer or a boxing glove or even a bullet bill at the tip if Nintendo ever took these guys and put them in a game.

I highly doubt Nintendo themselves would ever accept such a concept. Arrows "appear" more violent than hammers...
In any case, quite a great job on laying out the concept like so...

I never jumped on the bandwagon on creating custom Mario characters based on other characters... <__< >__> And if I did, they would look WAAY too close to the original character I had used, I have to trash 'em...

Yup, the green one is aiming for the flying block. I figured a direct hit would cause coins or a mushroom to pop out of the block, same as when they get bumped from below.

That's a pretty cool 'bro' version! A lot of the hammer bros throw something like boomerangs or fire balls etc so an arrow bros is perfect.
Love the colouring as usual.

Could be that sharp arrows is something too nasty and violent in their books. Then again, you've got spiked iron balls and grinning bullets all over the place in most Mario games. Those look like they'd hurt all right.
