Ah, finally! After a long lull, I have something new under my belt. This is the "sequel" to the acclaimed Goombella animated. What other logical choice to go to next than my favorite koopa in the game, Koops!
This was hellish to animate. First of all, I had to seperate the hood into two pieces, a front and a back, to mask Koop's neck. That was annoying, something I haven't done before. Also, for some reason flash was being stubborn and was trying to revert any initial rotations I made in things like the tail and arm, making his arm jerk around. Not cool. In fact I got my friend ~Rage28 to fix the arm for me because I didn't know what happened. After that though, it was easier.
I'm pretty proud of this. Sure it doesn't move as much as the Goombella did, but that's what his idle pose is. The ironic thing is that it took a lot of moving parts to do so. But in any respect, it's sure better than the first time I submitted a Koops drawing. [link] yikes.
