Description Illustration for a Menger sponge at four recursions and highlighted sub cell. I created this image with Blender, which is a very nice tool, if you get used to it.

The Menger sponge is realy an RAM and rendering time killer. It makes it really hard to get higher recursions. I will upload an image with six recursions in a moment, but i found it not as much artistic then this one.

This was my actual limit in Blender. Some other renderers may be better suited for this type of situation.
