Here's a selfie of me as Newsprint at Anthrocon 2014. As I said before, new additions to the costume this year were the contacts, fake eyelashes, kitty teeth and whiskers. The whiskers are actual cat whiskers. I collect them as my cat sheds them, clean them, and then put them in a baggie. I apply them with eyelash adhesive and they stay on quite well.I had difficulties with painting my body this time around, and you can tell I didn't spend very much time on my chest at all.

Nope! It's makeup. For Newsprint it's Wolfe FX for the gray and the white, pink and black are Snazaroo. I plan on switching over to Wolfe FX completely once I start running through my Snazaroo.

I'm always trying to improve and see what I can add to a makeup/costume to enhance it. The more cat-like I can make myself, the better, haha!

Oh gosh I would love a big ball of yarn. I've considered making one out of a large styrofoam ball and a skein of yarn. Hmmm...

One way to make it is to take a regular rubber play ball like you get at Wal-Mart, then take a bunch of yarn and soak it in sections in a elmer's glue/water mixture,. Wrap it around the ball and allowing it to dry. The glue mixture will allow it to stick to the ball, creating a bouncy, huge ball of yarn for kitty to carry around with her..... ^^
