Description
Just a quick sketch of Shiek from LoZ ~Yeah I know....some will reproch me that he/she look more like a guy in this drawing (because of the ridiculous debat about his gender)
Well, I like male Sheik, but I also appreciate female Sheik so don't judge plz ; v ;

He looks so cuteeee
I used to be someone who would shun the very idea of female Sheik but over time I got over it. Now I still prefer male Sheik, especially when I see beautiful artwork like this, but I try to appreciate both versions because Sheik is still my favorite Zelda character no matter what.

Thank you
I'm glad to hear about this ! He is also my favorite character ! I used to draw him all the time...but was a bit shy to post those pics because
of the gender issue/drama stuff and since I used to draw him as a male, I was scared someone would start an argument with me -_- I find this debate really ridiculous nowadays because Sheik remains a great character, being either a man or a women ^.^ I opened my eyes somehow about this hehe~

No problem! ^_^
Aw I would love to see those pictures! I really do hate the argument as well. Fan art really should be arbitrary since art really is up to the one creating it. I always thought that Nintendo should leave Sheik ambiguous to be honest, since they stated Sheik is a boy in the Hyrule Historia before Bill Trinen spoke against that printed statement. It's kind of a shit storm of an argument that goes nowhere since it's a fictional character that should be loved as the character. I hope to see more of your work! ^.^

Wow! you did a great job with this; I love the expression in the lines! <333
His expression and pose fit together nicely; I love how solemn and serious he looks! You did a great job with the "stern" quality the eyes have the eyebrows are angled well Β and they "amplify" his expression *.* the hand is drawn amaziningly as well *^* the fingers are positioned perfectly!
I love the flowy, quick, sketchy quality the lines have- it looks really amazing! Rather than static, this sketch is full of expression and the shading is done well with only two colors! You gave the illusion of grey really well
Β
And for only two colors, the shading is AMAZING! Especially on his neck-wrap and shirt *-*
The solitary red in the eyes looks amazing *^* it stands out and contrasts from the darker, harsher colors well! I love it! his hair looks especially great (I love the way it frays and splits at the ends)Β
Great job!
You're totally right on the gender debate; there are way more important things than Sheik's gender, and, after all, he/she is androgynous either way :/ it seems kind of silly for everyone to be arguing so seriously about it XD

>//< You're very welcome! ^.^
Sometimes quick sketches look just as amazing as finished pieces *.* there's no way I could not love it
of course it makes me wonder why people really care, because, as you said, Sheik's a great character either way
