Description Drizel: Hound of Biether

Pronounced: Dr-ray-ze-ul

Type: Lesser Accera Daemon – Vampristic

Hight: 2ft
Length: 3ft + 2ft tail

Details:
Drizel was once the loyal blood hound of Count Rancoth, the forth member of the Circle. However, through bio-mancy, Accera curses and numerous procedures that still haven’t been given names horrible enough to describe them, he was slowly transformed in to the ravenous vile creature you see before you. Dubbed ‘The Hound of Darkness’, it was almost completely dependent on Chaos energy and gradually evolved to drain some Accera from living beings. Designed as the ultimate hunter, Drizel was capable of blending to the shadows extremely well and thus served as a spy and assassin the Lord Accera. Its horns (displayed in relaxed position) could be ‘swiveled’ around to almost any direction in order to impale its victims. With these it can pin pray and it drain it of the chaos contained with in the poor creatures flesh. When running, they were held back behind the head and against the shoulders so not to interfere with the legs. Large bone extensions on the fore legs provided excellent close range weaponry and its barbed, dexterous hands allowed it to climb virtually any surface, be it stone or wood.
It was long believed that the Hound was the creation of Rosad Beither and, though this was far from the truth, it is still written so in the history books to this day. Another common historical mistake was that, due to its unusual anatomy, it was easy to believe that Drizel was immortal. This is also untrue. Like any Accera based being, Drizel had a spark of chaos centered at his hart that, if it was pierced was highly vunrable to lux. A quick shot of focused Lux to the wound would have vanquished him. The hard part was actually piercing his hide. Thick skin and deformed bone protected the hart from damage and this, coupled with his unnerving regeneration speed, aided to the image of immortality.

Originally, its main source of power still came from its master and without constently feeding from the Count's energy reserves it would have been unable to sustain its 'true' form. Thus when the count was defeated it became dormant for almost a decade, until ninety years ago when it suddenly became active again for reasons unknown. For over a week it ran a mock in the city of Sanctuary, hunting and vampricaly draining everything that moved to regain enough energy to assume its true nature.
It was documented that the aptly named ‘ Hound of Biether’ made nearly twenty five confirmed kills before it was finally imprisoned in the dungeons below the city by Questor Darrius. It went down in history as the first time three questors had worked together on a single cause. The hound is also noted for being the only creature to have disposed of two questors at once, Darrius being the only one to have survived the slaughter long enough to seal the exit from the dungeons, trapping the creature within. Though nearly a centaury has passed, there are still urban legions and ghost stories told by elders and kit's alike that state; on a dark moon night, you can still hear the blood churning howl of the beast in the deepest parts of the Tumble Down, still pacing its eternal prison, awaiting to be released once again upon the city.

A very nice sketch, and an interesting concept. Is this beast from a game, book or your own imagining?

its from a online RP/fanfic that I'm moding. We haven't quite got up to the point where Drizel comes into play yet, and he's gone through a bit of a redesign, but the principles are still the same ^^, thanks a lot for the coment
