Description The Glaive Class Main Battle Tank was designed shortly after the "Faceless Demon Incursion", soon to be revealed that it was infact the Kzinti that invaded Neutrality (Allied Reporting name: Basra). However, the reign of Anubis quickly stopped any and all production. Instead of continuing production of the new tank Anubis decided that he would infact continue building the older Matilda II Land Battleship. This would infact prove a costly mistake when his forces were overthrown by Royal Marines and His Magesty's Armed Forces. The Glaive class, while beginning to age comparitively to other allied designs, is currently the front line armored unit of the Serian League and His Magesty's Armored Cavalry.

The Glaive Class Main Battletank is armored with Tacozma I Armor, however the newer Tacozma II armor is currently being deployed as add-on armoured plates. Armed with a 120mm Rifled Autocannon however, the Glaive shows that it is infact, not up to par against the newer enemy and allied tanks. The Glaive is armed with only a single Rifled autocannon while the Kzinti are reported to have a railgun mounted in their tanks, and the Human Forces of CORE (And torchbearers, more recently) arm their armoured units with 2 to 3 150mm autocannons. The Collective armed forces mount dual massive 200 something cannons on their massive armored behemoths.

In addition to the 120mm rifled autocannon the Glaive is armed with a 12.5mm/0.50 Caliber Rotary cannon as a coaxial weapon. It also is armed with two12.5mm Machine guns on AA mounts for anti-infantry duty for the Commander and secondary gunner.

The Glaive is not as well armored, armed, or fast as enemy main battle tanks and is certainly showing it's age and deficiencies. However, despite this, the Government in it's current financial troubles with a war on three fronts has decided to cut it's losses and continue using the glaive instead of spending the money to design, build, and rearm the entirety of it's armoured forces.

However the glaive shows multiple important parts in that it uses a Battery powered electric engine that is infact charged by high intake solar panels set where Fans would usually set on normal tanks. On top of this, the Glaive uses specialized ducting systems to counter dust and sand-clouds behind the tank. It's highly gyroscopic stablized gun and upgraded suspension allow the tank to nearly if not always have it's gun directly on target. However it's relatively weak gun next to never ensures a kill with the first, second, or third shots.

Thankfull the Glaive is a low slung vehicle, allowing the drivers to easily put the tank hull-down somewhere and assist in defense of allied positions.

It is, infact, a combination of the Merkava Turret and the Abrams Tank Hull. Too bad this tank doesn't do either tanks any glory, because it gets trounced alot. It's like, the Sherman.

Luckily it doesn't burst into flames.

The Irony, that you might find amusing, is that It's facing an alien species thatis modeled slightly after germany... and Uses Panzers.

So we got a sherman, vs. Panzers.
