Description
NightfallI had to do something quick for myself in order to feel better. The scene isn't that original. I tried to make it look kind of realistic (especially by chosing the colors). I haven't done many scenes like this before so I thought it was about time to try one again.
I hope you like it. Comments and favs (especially in case you are using it as wallpaper) are very appreciated like everytime!

Der blur auf den Asteroiden kommt cool. Schicke Farben und Perspektive, hΓΌbsches Nebula. Gibt nix zu meckern.

Wow. I can't tell if it's intended to seem as though the meteorites are to strike the planet or not, but it doesn't provoke a response to the presumed threat! Really well done.

kinda looks like earth in it's infancy, after the moon was formed but before it was littered with asteroid impacts. Asteroids in the foreground are impacting the earth, adding a bit more mass to the planet before life finally flourishes to what it would be before the Cambrian mass extinction. some left over star dust can be seen in the background ready to be absorbed by surrounding planets.
amazing really. I love space art. Love space.

Amazing piece! I agree with the reviewer that it should be presented in a more widescreen format. Widescreen really helps convey a sense of vastness. Though there is a feeling of that in here, there could be more. I DISAGREE, however, about the asteroids. I think they're perfect. I think that - although they are common in space art - it's rare that they look like they're in motion. It's a very unique approach! At first, however, I thought they were parts of the planet's rings because wouldn't asteroids be starting to flame at this point? Maybe some more asteroids in the distance just entering the planet's atmosphere - you know, like just starting to ignite/glow - would help clarify what they are.
The other thing that just sort of throws off the realism to me is the amount of light on the moon. I think there's too much light, especially on the dark side.
I love space art and I think this is a gorgeous piece! You should be proud!
