Description
The base stock is an early morning panorama photo of my hometown Dresden. I always wanted to give it a futuristic look and that is why I gave it a try (and besides the larger planet this might become reality one day). Fence from cgtextures.com.Little making of: [link]

Great work. But I wonder what the gravity and tides would be like with another planet that close.

Read the book "Life as We Knew it." That would answer your question. (Only in the book a planet doesn't get that close, it's the moon." Science fiction, but it seems possible.

interesting!... the idea with the planets is nice but their lightings are all wrong... imagine where the sun is and where the light would fall... i like the fence. it remembers of the past and contrasts the future look.
good job!

cute manip, i noticed the city right away. might look better without the fence, though.
and: i'll never forgive you for making the weiΓer hirsch quarter tomorrow's boomtown.

Awesome image. I don't think gravity would allow a scene like this though.

Sometimes when I see small cities lit up at night, I try to imagine what it would be like to see some really massive buildings towering out from the center, with the edges still rather modern-day since no-one has bothered to expand the city that much yet I feel like you thought the same thing when passing this area and finally decided to visualize it
