Description Project HyperionThis was a practise-only project. Therefore the scene itself isn't that special and new. Focus was on realism and quality.

Project Hyperion is comparable to NASA's Apollo program. The goal is the moon.

I only used own stocks. Done with Photoshop and Wacom Graphire 4. Thanks a lot to *ChrisCold for his hints and feedback!

And what kind of PC do you use, to handle working with such large dimensions?! 7680x12000px is huge!

That is so cool that at first I thought it was digital art.
Then I looked at the clouds and the ground and thought it was a real photograph.
Then I looked at the moon and was confused, so I checked and realized it was digital art.
