Description Project HyperionThis was a practise-only project. Therefore the scene itself isn't that special and new. Focus was on realism and quality.

Project Hyperion is comparable to NASA's Apollo program. The goal is the moon.

I only used own stocks. Done with Photoshop and Wacom Graphire 4. Thanks a lot to *ChrisCold for his hints and feedback!

This is cool. Realistically you wouldn't point the rocket at the moon initially, but if you didn't, it wouldn't have the same awesome effect. Well done. And congrats on the DD

It is almost as if the picture had 2 foci, because I found myself in wonder about the spacecraft/jet and then gazing at the mysterious lone landscape. Good work.

yeah, me gave 1000th fav

The concept is brilliant, i love dark colors and glistening hi-lights like this in the evening sky.
Did you add those dark grey clouds in the front?
Apart from that, i believe the launch site could use some more spectacular amount of fumes, save its some futuristic kind of engine.
