Description Project HyperionThis was a practise-only project. Therefore the scene itself isn't that special and new. Focus was on realism and quality.

Project Hyperion is comparable to NASA's Apollo program. The goal is the moon.

I only used own stocks. Done with Photoshop and Wacom Graphire 4. Thanks a lot to *ChrisCold for his hints and feedback!

We should never have stopped going. I have my fingers crossed that there still may be a glimmer of hope for returning to the Moon very soon. Cancelation of the Constellation program is not yet written in stone.

Excellent work. The sky seems to progress naturally from the horizon up towards the zenith, the clouds are well-lit, but what impresses me the most is the dust trail that has a very, very natural color - and the position where it goes "clean" after the clouds is perfect.
