Description
The OutburstThe inspiration for this pic cames from my old "From Inside". But I changed to concept. I'm very satisfied with the explosion, that take a lot of patience and time
First time for a while that I made a title on the pic. It's so hard to make a good looking typo.
Critics, comments,

No problem! You gotta create a tutorial one day about what you can best (space scenes if you didn't figure )!

wow. I've seen alot of space scene artwork, but
never have I been so surprised and envious.
The outburst now, in my opinion, is superior
to almost every planetary explosion artwork
I've seen. It doesn't look like just another
"tutorial-follow-up" piece, this is really the result
of exploration and creativity. Good job!

Gorgeous colors. I love the contrast between the blue and the red, and the explosion is gorgeous. Very unique idea, and the execution is wonderful!

Lovely work as always! I just thought -- and this is just my opinion -- but I think a blue or red supergiant over in the upper-right (not huge, but maybe about the size of a dime or so) with a lens flare would look kind of cool. But I like it as it is, too.
as always!

Whoa, amazing!!! How do you achieve that sharpness? Is it just the scaling, or do you adjust it in some way?

Wow I like it much better with the little bursts! (Kind of looks like the planet has chicken pox, lol) The way it contrasts with the calm, soft blue area to the right is really nifty, especially since light is being cast on the planet softly when so much craziness is going on.

Haha, the planet looks like it's got some illness But it definately adds more volume to the planet with all those outbursts.
I think the neb is too bright though, or maybe the edges are too sharp, maybe a nice transition would do the trick?
P.S. I LOVE ECLIPSES!

I totally love the explosion.. you give a great sense of scale and realism to your pieces man ! I wish the silver surfer was drawn in scenery like this.. it would bring so much more depth to the character.
