The OutburstThe inspiration for this pic cames from my old "From Inside". But I changed to concept. I'm very satisfied with the explosion, that take a lot of patience and time
It's no impact, but if it's one in your point of view, it's ok too 
First time for a while that I made a title on the pic. It's so hard to make a good looking typo.

edit: changed sun and added a third planet
editΒ²: added more outburst's, changed background and improved the asteroids

nice work altough I still think that both light sources take the same amount of attention.. this is confusing because now there is no nice line for the eye to follow.. there should be one point that takes the most attention so you have a nice focal.. nice explosion

It's pretty neat looking, but I was always taught never to put the action in dead center of the view because it minimizes the effect. Maybe if the explosion was closer to the edge of the planet, you would be able to see more debris for a more dramatic shot? It still looks damn good though
