I kinda like the result. The picture is available as dual screen wallpaper for widescreen resolution (if you have another setup, just crop it to your liking).

Simply amazing. I love the plume of smoke from the volcano (?) on the planet, and the astronauts on the moon/asteroid provide a great sense of scale.
It reminds me of this one DLC campaign for Mass Effect where you had to prevent an asteroid that was redirected by mercenaries from hitting a colony planet.

You never cease to amaze me Taenaron, after I downloaded the picture (since the preview was pretty small), I was stunned by the huge amount of detail and work you've put in the picture; the astronauts , the volcano's eruption, the eclipse, and the puffy clouds hovering over the bluey planet.
Though I noticed the bottom right corner of the landscape doesn't completely match with the left landscape, somehow, the lightning makes me feel its extremely distant, or am I looking at it in a wrong perspective?
