A different attempt this time for a close up planet. I kinda like the result. The picture is available as dual screen wallpaper for widescreen resolution (if you have another setup, just crop it to your liking).

Good thing the exhibit one shows it in better detail that dA does, especially because of the volcano, the transition of its smoke going from brown to white looks very real, that whole planet does and the clouds being matte-painted gives it depth too since you can see them "sticking out"
