Just wanted to say this is absolutly amazing, astouding, astonishing! This is some of the best space art I've seen in a while! I just love the color scheme, clashing though blending together so well. I also possitivly digg the glow coming off that planet, and off some of the texture.

I really love how you've got the warm and cool colors to contrast each other, and balance out the whole peice. <3 The way you've added in all the tiny details really brings it to life.
I also like the star (as you mentioned) ... I think it brings a little action into the background to tie it all together, instead of having all the focuse in the center and the background just being "blah blah... some color here.... " ...
