there's a really great sense of texture here- the muddy crimsons and grey complement it to give the image this rusty feel, while the fact it's so dark feeds right into the solom, broody nature of the charater. the scratchy splashes of white on the metal work really help to bring it to life and the extent to which your brush strokes create a sense of structure is quite amazing. everything feels like it's been built out of these really raw patches of colour.

It's such a shame that alot of skillfull digital artists doesn't experiment with traditional mediums a bit more. Personally, i prefer looking at traditional mediums irl. Cause you can see the brushstrokes better :> Yours is a perfect example.
