you're brush work is really something. the way in which you used the strokes on the arms to create a sense of movment add to the illusion of the hulking figurein the foreground hurling himself fowards. there's a real sense of motion to them and the jagged strips of hair and loin cloth only add to this ide3a. depth's created by the way you have him 'white out' as his body receeds into the bacground, giving his hulking form direction as it comes towards us. indeed, the overbuild, shadowing torso gives him a bestial air, something that's only amplified by his hunched posture, curled fingers, apparant disreguard from the arrows boring into him and the blank, seering eyes.
the wide, landscape layout of the image gives it a cinimatic feel, especially with the thick black boder lining the top and bottom. the creature occupying the hazy background is just as threateneing. there's a sese of something imense about to happen, what with the way light seems to be gathering at it's mouth.

Ever take a look at the metal gear solid artwork? This is very heavily reminiscent of the loose brushwork that made the concept art for the whole MGS series. I love it!
