Aesthetically, I'm attracted to the rough, impressionistic strokes and the strong diagonal created by both the smoke clouds and the colossus' neck. Extra-aesthetically, I'm having fond flashbacks to the boss battle this image is based upon. I don't remember any flaming swords at that point, however, but it's presence here certainly helps to explain that spiffy underlighting.

This is such a powerful piece. I love the contrast of the harsh juragon against the flowing background. Also, you really make the fire glow. It's very alive. You also do a fabulous job making details in black on black. Excellent work.
