Traditional paints HATE me. Seriously, whenever I try to use them, they rise up and attack me. Artrage is a pretty cool program, that makes me feel like less of a total loser because I can imitate real paint so easily with it, but it's lack of zoomability kills me.

haha yeah traditional paints are a little harder to work with sometimes, I guess that's why it's better to start off traditionally before moving onto computer stuff. Artrage2 has zooming options now i think actually

Heh... the oil mimic brush? I prefer doing a painted look by hand... snrk... more personal. I've only just started working with the whole paint-mimicing brushes. Currently working on developing a CGI style. It's fun.
