You have made my day! I just got back to my cold Suzuka apartment from buying FF4 DS and I was hoping to find a sweet fanart of the Elemental Lords and it looks like you've made that possible! Absolutely gorgeous use of color, contrast, and shape I also like how you've conveyed emotions upon each of their faces, they are eerily accurate!

Ahh I never got so far in ff4. OOh! It reminded me of the 4 creatures that resided in... number 2... (i thinks) and 9. Liche, Lillith, Kraken, and Tiamat.
(everybody I know is always stuck at Tiamat.) ah, but this is neet.

Wow this is just great, love how you captured each element. I prefer the original four fiends myself but how can you not love a guy called Scarmiglione. You did the four lord justice here.

Oh wow this really brings back some fond memories. This looks so superb that I'm willing to say that you could darn nearly replace Yoshitaka Amano as the primary the Final Fantasy character designer. Each character has an amazing power or grace to them.

You've really pulled off a textured look here that doesn't come through on most images, whether they be paintings or hand-drawn. I can really see the dress billowing up around the third figure (gah, my inner Final Fantasy fanboy is shrieking in rage at not being able to recall the name). It looks as if I could reach out and feel the material. Of course, by the same token, I fear I would be drowned or burned by her cohorts.
Lich looks just like the undead abomination one would expect of him. Really, that can be said of all the Fiends. They're dead-on. Top-notch

Its wonderful to see the Elemental Lords illustrated as such... I want to hug Scarmiglione... and Barbariccia looks stunning, but I am saddened at the lack of sexy leg from Rubicant... ^^

you really have a knack for capturing human (esque) charaters acting in a raw, bestial manner and the first out of the four is a fine example of this. the haze effect really creates a sense of distance between the limbs, adding to the feeling that this shing's springing fowards while the fingers claw and arch. the way the hair whipps about perpetutes the feeling of frantic motion while there's something manic about the wide, staring eyes sockests and lolling mouth.
the calm, serren expression of the lady is a toal counter balance to this while the stotic blue figure and mystirious cloaked entity both have thier own induvidual flavours. all of them have a heavy sense of motion, be it the billowing of the 3rd's hair and clothing, the explosion of snow or the dancing flames. in a way, this is carried on by the manner in which you paint with sweeping, swift brushstrokes though the range of textures and vibes you're capable of creating is quite remarkable (the fluffy splatters ofsnow compared to the crisp folds of the 4th's cape for example)
