I don't think you've posted this one before, but the déjà vu is probably coming from your "tree lady" piece from May in '09.
Stunning work as-per-usual, one day you'll blow my mind completely away with something, and I'll be left only capable of human communication by the varying amounts of froth that have amassed about my mouth.

That's so amazing how you give the sense of the churning water, and a real sense of power coming from the mermaid. The scales are so beautiful and shiny, while the hair looks wispy and ethereal. A really beautiful piece.
