For some reason I don't even look at the red dots. I think the outstretched hand is the most prominent part of the image. If you want to make the redness stand out more, make the rest of the image less high contrast. Maybe a grayscale background or smoothly blended shadows on the skin to make the sharply defined red eyes stand out.

hm well i wasnt actually thinking too too much about where the focus of the drawing would be, just wanted to play with three tones and one colour, so i guess either focal point is fine with me. but thanks for the advice
