Good ol' Aureus Hayes. I just had one goal in mind when drawing this piece, and that was to draw the most fucked up, insane facial expression that I could conjure up. I think I accomplished that goal pretty well. I also chose to go with more haphazard line work (as opposed to the smoother and clean alternative I tend to favor), as I think it adds to the overall effect.Related content

Amazing. Simply amazing. The contrast between the red tones and black tones makes the picture look very crazed and sinister, as was probably it's purpose. And I'm not sure why, but his earlobe is very tempting to bite. xD

Thank you! I'm glad you like the ovearall piece. I'm not so sure about the ear being too low (maybe a bit), as you are kind of looking at his face from a lower angle which would change the placement of the ear somewhat.

The overall style reminds me of the Gorrillaz. In case you're not familiar with them, they're an animated band that's sort've popular right now. The charachter here looks alot like Murdoc, the lead bass(I think.)

I'm a fan of the shading, especially around the eye. Although, my favorite part, for some reason, is the little buckle (or whatever it is) floating--seemingly--on the coat.
