There's not really anything I can say that hasn't been said, but I'll say it anyway... it's great to see FF6 fanart, especially of this calibur. I mean, wow.

I'm one of the only people on earth (haha get it? Terra?) who knows pretty much nothing about the FF games.....but I still love them. The archaic look is quite interesting, and I like how the girl appears completely at odds with the rest of the scene.

Terra is my favorite character -EVER- from all of the final fantasy games, and with this picture you do both her and Amano justice. Your coloring, in particular, really mimics his style of art. It looks beautiful. I love how you've blended together a sort of skewed realism alongside of your own style. The whole picture just... works. Great job.

I love that game so much. <3 It really doesn't seem to get as much lovin' as some of the newer games, which is sad.
The atmosphere in this picture is excellent. I love the grungy, messy feel to it. Only critique I might have is that Terra seems to stand out a little too much compared to her Magitek armour, unless of course you meant it to look that way?

your favorite is FFVI as well?! Wow I have not met another person that favored that one over the other (ummm better gaphics...) ff games. Oh! it's good to know it has fans other then myself!!
And this is great. I like how ou made the magitec armor rather vage but lots of tecture but also area and shape. Far better then i can do. Mecha is intimadating for me >.

Ahh, the textures can be found in Photoshop. I went to the brush settings and enabled the option "dual brush" and then selected one of the textures that Photoshop came with. And then I just paint around with it

that is so awesome, I would love to see a re-visement of Final Fantasy 6 that could better bring to life Amano's style, the way he looks the machines look so organic and monstrous, you really captured that in this image, great work
