Description
There is no giant "AAAAAAAAH" written behind them because the entire left half of this picture is one enormous, physical representation of "AAAAAAAAAH" in its most concentrated form.Dead man walking, thy name is Teo.
(This is dropping into scraps soon, though a colored version may find a permanent place in my gallery. If I can figure out a way to color it and not have it look like the dog's breakfast. I promise something that isn't Teoph will show up on this gallery eventually, I'm on a binge at the moment is all.)

This picture is just too full of win. The perspective is amazing and the expressions are gorgeous. The concept of him sweeping Toph off her feet and scaring a decade off her lifespan in flight is quite a humorous idea indeed

This is a horrifically late reply, but thank you so much! I had fun playing with the perspective--I've been trying to do more difficult poses these last several months. And alas, poor Toph. She likes her feet, and she likes them on the ground--heaven help her for falling for a fellow with such a fondness for sweeping them away. XD

It's perfectly fine. I fully understand late replies (and do them on my own quite often enough). I think that may be the delicious irony of Teo and Toph...the being swept off feet she really loves on the ground. The more I think about the two of them together the more I love them oddly enough.

You have THE sweetest pencil lines!!! They're so clear and defined! I love them! I am also madly in love with the expressions and hands in this piece. Very well done!! Would be super awesome coloured!

Thank you! To be honest, my pencil lines are generally a mess to start with. I just have a habit of cleaning them up as I go, to make them easier to ink later.
I'll see about coloring it sometime! It'd be pretty haphazard and splashy, but...

I can understand a mess of pencil lines... Sometimes I feel as if I spend a lot more time erasing than I do drawing... But in the end, I usually like what I've put together. And I love inking, so having the clean pencil lines adds to my enjoyment of that aspect.
Lol, haphazard and splashy I think would match with the emotions of the piece, at least Toph's anyway
