Little inspiration from the manga. ^_^ Another installment in my ongoing quest to draw a kiss that doesn't look like the kissers' profiles have mutated into cabbages. Also a showing off of my new coloring program skillz. Still not capital stuff, but slowly improving...Any concrit you have would be very welcome. I'm trying to get better with shading, so specific comments on how I could improve that in particular would be appreciated.

An EdWin kiss was the one thing we didn't get in the manga, and this looks just like Arakawa's style, so it feels authentic! x) Love it! I especially like the blood on Ed's bandage. (That seems so morbid, but really I just find blood so hard to draw so I respect those who can xD)

It looks perfect. Like it was drawn by Hiromu Arakawa herself. They don't look deformed at all... and IT IS SO ADORABLE! Edo looks so se- I mean, happy.
(hmm... do you like mangaEd better than animeEd? For some reason, I do. He looks more mature, or perhaps more manly in the manga...?)

for as far as i know the manga isn't complete yet so i hope this even will eventually occur in the end :3 (prolly won't cuz it's "shonen" T_T )

Heh...I dunno if I'd call them subtle, but it's a very natural-feeling romance, you know? It's really satisfying each time it develops a little more. And I definitely think something will have to happen in the end, "shounen" or not. The author's a woman, and better yet, a really talented and sensible woman who knows how to balance character development and brilliant action scenes just right.

Well, not necessarily--there are men who write good shounen manga romance, too--but it does up the odds a little, yeah. Also helps that the manga is run by Square-Enix, who like a bit of romance in their stories. ^^

i kinda hate it here for the mangas because they translate them into dutch and most dutch translations suck! and if i want theΓΉ in english i have to order them from far away wich costs me extra for the shipment costs.
