For anyone wondering, "What the heck has Tobu been doing lately?!"...WORK. Specifically, teaching two English conversation classes (one biweekly and one weekly) on top of my 8-to-4 job at the middle school and weekly visits to the elementary school across the street. Plus traditional pottery and archery lessons, plus musical rehearsals, plus a two-day work conference in Sapporo this week, plus Christmas shopping and redecorating my house and planning a New Year's trip to Tokyo and Beijing.
My life is a full one, but I feel very fulfilled at the moment.
In the meantime, for lack of any real deviations, have another soon-to-be-Scrapped potpourri of scribbles from the margins and backs of my school paperwork!
Let's see, we've got some Future AU redesigns, some creepy Katara, an incompetent halfway attempt to draw Suki, some Koh (because Koh makes everything better)...even a few of my original characters up there by Creepy Katara! Will wonders never cease.
So...got any suggestions for a 30K kiriban?

I cannot resist adding those braids to older!Tophs. I think she would love "accidentally" smacking people in the face with them (or the chest if she underestimated their height). Can't blame the blind girl!

There are a lot of them, aren't there? They tend to make her kinda....oversexed, though, I think, or too "pretty". Toph's just kind of chill--she's pretty without meaning to be.

Zuko & Katara look extremely uncomfortable in formal garb. The design on Katara's dress is pretty unique though.

Hah, yes, standing for a portrait is never much fun, and they're neither of them very comfortable with being stared at. (Toph can't tell anyway, and she is very patient.)
