I adore how this picture came out. Douglas has just seen Oliver, Isabel and Toad, and is considering what to do. It's also a nod to 's two parter where Donald and Douglas are escaping Scotland.Related content

Douglas: That sounds like a steam engine. (pause) Who's there?
Oliver: (whispers) Are you a North Western engine?
Douglas: Aye, and proud of it.
Oliver: Thank goodness. I'm Oliver. We're escaping to your railway, but we've run out of coal, and I've no more steam.
Douglas remembered Edward's story about saving Trevor, and about how Donald had saved him.
Douglas: Is it from scrap you're escapin'?
Oliver: Yes.
Douglas: Then it's glad I'll be to help ye. It'll have to look as if ye're ready for scrap, and I'm takin' ye away. But we must work fast.

Aww, I love how you added in that detail about Donald helping Douglas escape. It wasn't mentioned in the book or TV versions.

No problems. I also seen a version where it's a combo of Edward's story about Trevor, Donald risking his life for Douglas, and hearing the story of Stepney which motivate Douglas.

Remember, Stepney The Bluebell Engine takes place before Enterprising Engines, and Donald and Douglas are on the railway by the time of the former.
