Description
This takes place the day after the episode Famous 5s.

It was the day after a dreadful nightmare that Numberjack Five had. The teal Numberjack wasn't herself at all. She was barely chatty during breakfast - probably for the sake of Zero, One and Two - and she didn't even want to perform a tricky jump in the gym with Six, something she'd usually readily accept.

Four and Six were not sure what to do in this situation, but somehow... Three figured she might.

"I think we need some time alone," she said.

"If you're sure," said Four. "I'll... go and check on a new invention I've been working on."

"I'll see how the big Numberjacks are getting on," added Six.

Satisfied, Three went over to Five, who was trying to remain calm and collected.

"Five?" asked Three. "I want you to be completely honest with me here. Are you okay?"

Five blinked and bit her lip. "I... I..."

"I know I'm not the biggest Numberjack," said Three, "but I was in the Control Room while you were on the mission yesterday. Please, tell me, what is going on?"

Five sighed. "O-okay... that nightmare effected me a lot. I was... thinking about so many things that could have happened yesterday."

"Like..." Three settled down on the cushion next to Five to listen, knowing Five's theories could go on for a bit.

"I... c-could have been taken by the Puzzler, a-as he did 'change his mind' after we found out 4 and 1 make 5."

Three nodded, that was what the nightmare discribed last night.

"Or... I c-could h-have s-sunk lower in the q-quicksand than I a-actually did."

Three gulped at that notion. She was in a shocked silence when that had happened.

"Or... there w-was something r-really creepy that the Puzzler said..."

For a moment, Three couldn't recall what Five was talking about, but then it hit her like a tidal wave.

"Find two numbers that add to 5. Then I will let Five out... alive."

"Oh!" Three cried out, almost shrieking. "That's... horrifying..."

Five nodded, gulping.

"Three... I could have..."

"Don't say it!" cried Three, tears briming the edge of her face. "Y-you're alive, Five... you're safe... you're here..."

"I... I know..." said Five, she was trying to hold back tears herself. "But... it still terrifies me..."

"Yeah..." sighed Three. "Th-this is the worst the Puzzler has ever been." It makes what he did to me when I left Five's side a while ago seem harmless, she added silently.

"I... I'm sorry, Three..." sighed Five. "You don't want t-to s-see me like this..."

Three shook her head. "H-having a cry might help..." she said quietly. "N-Nine was telling me it can help make you feel better..."

Five, giving a nod in agreement, finally decided to let herself have a good cry. Three did too. Their shared anxieties of what the Puzzler tried to do to them came pouring out.

"Did that help?" asked Three gently.

"I-it... did, a bit," smiled Five weakly. "Thank you, Three. I... still don't think I'm up to doing missions for a while."

"Just tell us when you're ready," said Three. "We'll always be there for you. And... do you think we can continue doing this... whenever we need comfort?"

"I... think that would help too," agreed Five. "Thanks again, Three."
