I copy and paste them all to a new picture (using Paint.NET; it's free)

So when you get a new ds can you just put the sd card and finish some of these, or are they gone forever? Cuz that eddsworld one was looking really cool. I like the coat one too.

I don't think so.
But I can upload those to Colors! in private, and if I get a new DS I can just download those paintings again.
I most likely want my 3DS to get repaired, not buy a new one.
